As if fans needed another reason to love Brendan Fraser, one lucky fan uploaded a heartwarming video of the beloved “Mummy” actor that’s bringing tears to a lot of people’s eyes.
The interaction took place at an expo in Canada, where fans were able to say hello to the action star and get signed autographs.

Now, for many stars who’ve not been in the spotlight for a while, there are stories of how they can seem “bored” or “disinterested” after signing hundreds if not thousands of autographs at events like this.

However, for his part, Brendan seemed very much present and attentive to his fans, a sign of an actor who understands just how important each and every fan is to their career and legacy.
One fan took to TikTok to share a special interaction with the down-to-earth celeb.
She captioned her video:
“#brendanfraser #brendanfraserappreciation #brenaissance i love this man my photo op with him and my signed funko are […] everyone always says to never meet your heroes, i met mine and we almost burst into tears talking to eachother. thank you for everything brendan!”

Footage shows Brendan having a pleasant exchange with a fan and their friend while signing a Funko figure of himself.
He even pronounces the fan’s name correctly, which really impresses her. He explained:
“I’ve had a lifetime of people mispronouncing my name, I know what it’s like.”

But then the fan says something many of us would love to tell one of our favorite actors, “Thanks for making my childhood so awesome.” to which an emotional Brendan fights back the tears while offering his fan a fist bump.
And this interaction is an anomaly. For years Brendan’s had a reputation for being one of the nicest guys in Hollywood. .

In another viral TikTok Video, the actor became emotional after a fan told him that everyone was “rooting” for him.
Brendan confessed that he “wasn’t aware there was so much support for him in addressing his fan. How could you not root for someone like that?
Then there was an interaction at the FAN EXPO Boston where a fan asked Brendan:
“Do you ever get like ‘this is kind of weird’ or like you know people are kind of taking it too far or do you just take it, you know?”
Brendan replied: “I’ll answer your question. Just recently – and I’m not real big on social media, forgive me for that I’m a luddite apart from the Zelda thing – I did a like a meet and greet at a con and it went on to TikTok and I had a nice little chat with this lovely woman called Lindley, I learned her name.
“It was big I’m told.”
“You were kind of choking up,” the fan interjects.
Brendan adds: “Yeah I backed into that, I was like I don’t know I felt like, she was so sincere.
“I appreciate it and it let me know that I guess I just wasn’t aware that there’s that much support.
“I appreciate it very very much.”
