A couple’s wedding day is one of the most joyous days of their relationship, or it should be. I know that when my wife and I got married, she spent a year planning it and she’s not really the type of traditional bride who loves that kind of thing. She wanted to make it very special for us both, especially for me since I had never been married before. I can’t even imagine doing anything to make that day bad for her in any way. But there’s a disturbing trend in the world and it is violent grooms who can’t seem to take a little fun or a joke.
A video has surfaced that shows the groom violently slapping his bride when she teased him by pretending to take his wedding cake away from him. The wedding took place in Central Asia and has shocked people around the world. In the viral video, the groom can be seen reacting very badly when he hit her so hard that she fell backward onto the seat behind her. The video began with a woman lifting the bride’s veil away from her face so that the anonymous groom could feed his bride a piece of cake. However, when it was her turn to feed her groom, things went awry.
As she began to feed him the cake, she decided to playfully pull it away at the last minute. People do weird things like this when they’re doing the cake eating tradition at weddings. We’ve even seen videos of people pushing cake into someone’s face, which goes a bit too far. My wife and I just fed each other a piece of cake. We were too nervous for any shenanigans, I guess, but we were having a blast.

In the video, you can see the shock on the bride’s face, but you have to imagine that this isn’t the first time he’s done something like this. The video ends with a man pulling the groom away before he hurts her further. It’s very troubling and we hope this bride’s family helped her to get out of this horrible situation.
