Mark Bryan is a heterosexual happily married man who loves his wife, Porsche cars, and also skirts and heels. On himself (maybe on his wife, too). Mark nearly always wears a skirt and heels when he goes out on the town, to work, and even at home. Most people who comment on his photos think he looks absolutely fabulous in his outfits, too.
It’s hard not to write about this topic and not make it political because this has been so politicized in the U.S., unfortunately. The fact is, the gentleman can wear whatever the heck he wants and if he’s not bothering anyone else, what business is it of theirs? None.
If I had legs like that, I might wear heels every day! Actually, nope, I wouldn’t. They were never comfortable for me, even when I wore them. When I worked in the workforce, I liked a boot with a 2.5-inch heel and that’s about the best I could do. But because we can all wear what we want, I got away with it. Society allows women to make choices about the kinds of shoes she wears. Also, women can wear pants or we can wear skirts. In Mark’s opinion, anyone should have that right. He says that to him, clothing doesn’t have a gender. He simply prefers skirts to pants, and prefers a "masculine” look above the waist.
His quote: "I dress like this because I can. Just to be different. I have always admired the women that wore tight skirts and heels. Not sexually, but the power they presented. I don’t dress to be sexual, but to dress like any professional woman would. To me, clothes have no gender. I prefer skirts to dresses. Dresses don’t allow me to mix the genders. I prefer a "masculine” look above the waist and a non-gendered look below the waist. It’s all about clothes having no gender.”
