Vin Diesel Walked Late Co-Star Paul Walker’s Daughter Down the Aisle at Her Wedding

In 2021, Vin Diesel celebrated a bitter-sweet milestone in his life as he had the honor of walking Meadow Walker down the aisle as she married her husband, Louis Thornton-Allan. The ceremony took place in the Dominican Republic. Meadow, age 22, is the daughter of Vin Diesel’s late costar Paul Walker who asked him to become his daughter’s godfather before he passed.[1] Meadow posted a heartwarming photo on Instagram showing the tender moment when Diesel, dressed in a light powder blue suit and sunglasses, proudly took her arm to walk her toward her husband-to-be. In the picture, Meadow is smiling beneath her sheer veil while holding a bouquet in one hand while her other arm is linked with her Godfather’s. Meadow captioned the post: “ayooooo.” Paul and Diesel starred in five Fast & Furious movies together before the actor’s death in November 2013. Paul passed away following a car crash. He was a passenger in a Porsche that hit a lamppost and burst into flames, killing him and the driver, Roger Rodas. After her father’s death, Vin Diesel remained a big part of Meadow’s life. In an interview with Extra[2], Diesel said that his Goddaguther “takes good care of him.”

“She’s the first person on Father’s Day to wish me Happy Father’s Day,” he said. “To see her with my children is one of the most beautiful things. There are moments when I see her playing with [his 6-year-old daughter] Pauline and it hits me so deep ’cause I can only imagine what my brother sees when he sees that.”

He added, “I feel very protective. It goes beyond the movie.”

Meadow describes Diesel’s daughter Hanina Sinclair as her “angel” and considers Diesel to be “family.” Diesel wasn’t the only cast member in attendance when meadow tied the knot. Jordana Brewster was also there.

“We couldn’t have imagined it to be any more perfect and personal—and honestly it was easy and simple. Louis and I knew exactly what we wanted from the start,” Meadow told Vogue[3] of her and Thornton-Allan’s special day. “It was a very intimate celebration.”
