99 Percent of the Internet Can’t Find This Word, Are You One of the Chosen Few?

Puzzles are a great way to exercise our minds. They keep our brains sharp and can help expand our thinking. Puzzles are also great for helping pass the time, especially these days, when we seem to have so much more of it. If you’ve got a couple of kids, there’s no better way to keep them occupied and productive than having them solve a few puzzles. My Grandmother and I used to love solving puzzles together; some of our favorites were word puzzles such as crosswords.

Did you know that word search puzzles got their start in 1913? It’s pretty crazy when you think about it because one would assume that they’ve been around much longer! But that’s when they started. The first crossword puzzle was created by Liverpool, England resident Arthur Wynne, a journalist who one day published his puzzle in a Sunday paper, called New York World.

Within this puzzle is a hidden word that is extremely difficult to locate. In fact, about 99 percent of folks give up before they find it. However, for some folks, the word jumps right out at them in about five seconds or so. See how quickly you can find it.
