Anti-Vaxx Mom Reaches Out For Help With Unvaccinated 3-Year-Old From Measles And The Internet Delivers

People enjoy talking and, more specifically, they enjoy a good debate. It may be on a variety of subjects but there are always going to be certain topics that bring out the best (or perhaps the worst) in people. One of those topics is vaccines, and it seems as if people are going to be on one side of the issue on another. Some people are against vaccinations, perhaps fearing autism or other issues and for others, they feel it is the best-known method of protecting children from certain illnesses.

There are many different types of vaccinations but one of the ones that have been around for quite some times is the vaccine for measles. Even so, Washington state is dealing with an outbreak of measles and it prompted one mother to ask for help. You see, her child is unvaccinated and now 3 years old. The mother wants to know what she can do to protect her child.

“My 3-year-old is not vaccinated and there is currently a measles outbreak in my state,” she wrote in a group called Vaccine Education Network: Natural Health Anti-Vaxx Community. “Any suggestions for precautions I can take to protect her would be very much appreciated.”

This is the part where many of us will begin to wonder how this could have happened. She wasn’t just asking for help, she was setting herself up for an avalanche of abuse comments. After all, as of 2 decades ago, measles was all but eliminated in the US but it seems to be making a comeback.

In the end, the mother got what was coming to her. The answers that people gave were both pointed and funny. Look down through them and you can even spot some dark humor. It’s just what you need to get your smile for the day.
