Known for ‘Will & Grace,’ Passes Away at Age 60

Actor Corey Parker, best known for his role on the hit sitcom *Will & Grace*, has died at the age of 60. He passed away on March 5 in Memphis, Tennessee, following a battle with cancer. His representative, Chris Ahuja, confirmed the news to *People*, stating that Parker died peacefully surrounded by family.

Ahuja remembered him as more than just a gifted actor, saying, "Corey Parker was an incredible human being. He was a friend, mentor, and deeply supportive presence for many people in the acting community.” Colleagues frequently praised his kindness, generosity, and dedication to helping others succeed.

Parker had previously shared that he was diagnosed with advanced metastatic cancer after undergoing hip replacement surgery. In a final update on February 17, he revealed the illness was terminal, noting that radiation treatment intended to ease pain in his arm and hips had also affected his ability to speak and eat. At that time, his family was preparing their home for hospice care.

Born in New York City on July 8, 1965, Parker was the son of actress Rochelle Natalie "Rocky” Parker, which gave him early exposure to the entertainment world. He began appearing in television commercials at just four years old, later studying performing arts and becoming a member of both the Actors Studio and Ensemble Studio Theatre.

Throughout his career, Parker appeared in numerous TV shows, including *Flying Blind*, *Thirtysomething*, and *Touched by an Angel*, as well as films such as *Friday the 13th: A New Beginning*, *Biloxi Blues*, and *9½ Weeks*. In his later years, he became an acting coach, mentoring young performers who credited him with helping them grow both artistically and personally.
