Man Scores The ‘Golden Buzzer’ With His Rendition Of An Old Elvis Hit

What would you do if you had a lot of talent when it came to singing? Of course, everybody can sing but not everybody is capable of entertaining thousands of people in an auditorium by singing for them. Those individuals are likely going to be limited to singing in the shower or perhaps only for a few friends. They may even be able to do karaoke but they just don’t have that special something that would make them wildly popular. Every once in a while, however, we hear about somebody that does have an extreme amount of talent but they don’t always get the recognition that they deserve. Barry Darcy of Cork, Ireland was one of those individuals and he got his five minutes of fame. If you are like most people, you are familiar with some of the talent shows that are on television. Individuals from around the world get the opportunity to show the talent they have for a local audience of hundreds of individuals and a worldwide audience of millions of people. Although most people are probably familiar with America’s Got Talent, similar shows are also available in other parts of the world as well. Barry had the opportunity to be on Ireland’s Got Talent and a 30-year-old man did what he could to impress the judges. In the end, he did more than impress the judges, he impressed everyone in attendance that day who had the opportunity to hear him. As is the case with these talent shows, Barry had the opportunity to talk about himself and his life when he first got started. They also talked about his song, which was an Elvis Presley hit, ‘The Wonder of You’. When he started singing, his voice had a similarity to Elvis but he certainly was not an Elvis impersonator. In the end, he puts on an emotional and inspirational performance and he was rewarded for his efforts with the coveted Golden Buzzer. You can see and hear his performance in the following video:
