Megan Moss Johnson, heart transplant survivor dies 8 hours after giving birth

When Megan and Nathan Johnson knew that they were expecting to have their first kid together, they were so happy. Megan, the mother, directly started to prepare things for Eilee Kate’s arrival. While her husband supported her all the way.

Eilee was born on July 6, Tuesday at 2:40. And “her parents were so happy”, said Josh Wilson, family’s friend.

Megan held her little daughter and fed her, and Nathan, a contemporary Christian music artist, excitedly sent photos of her to family and friends.

But then, sadly, Megan started having complications between 9-10 in the morning, and the doctors couldn’t do anything to help her. She directly died, while her daughter was only eight-hour old.

That was so heartbreaking for Nathan. Josh said that Megan was Nathan’s everything.

The widowed father was gathered by friends and people who love him, to support him. They offered to buy him diapers, cut his grass, bring him food, and run errands.

Nathan’s family and about thirty local friends raised about $12,000 for Nathan, but Josh decided to do something special. He set a GoFundMe campaign, as he knew that some of Nathan’s friends might want help too.

Josh considered that $40,000 could make everything different. They could make Nathan to make some touring and also be able to cover his expenses and bills. But, actually, the response stunned him.

The campaign had already raised for thousands of dollars in just a few hours, so he raised the goal for 2 times, the first was to $100,000 while the second time was to $150,000

Then, Josh raised the goal to $400,000 as the campaign had raised $300,000 in less than an entire day. Eilee and Nathan have been given over $350,000 in just 2 days.

That incredible love made Caused Nathan to be overwhelmed.

Fortunately, Nathan became good because of knowing that he has the support and love of thousands all over the world.

Of course, Megan died, but she helped to save 52 lives, said Josh.
