Renowned Italian news anchor Costanza Calabrese found herself at the center of an awkward on-air incident when she unintentionally revealed more than intended, seemingly unaware of the transparent glass desk she was seated behind.
The clip, which dates back to 2016, resurfaced and quickly went viral. Calabrese, who was hosting a segment on Italy’s TG 5 channel, experienced what some have dubbed her "basic instinct” moment. The broadcast began with a close-up shot of her face and shoulders, but as the camera widened, viewers could see her sitting with her legs apart behind the see-through desk.
At the time, the 38-year-old presenter appeared oblivious to the situation, but audiences immediately noticed the mishap. The video, later uploaded to YouTube, has since garnered over 6 million views.
Reactions to the clip were mixed. One viewer expressed sympathy, writing, "Poor woman!
