At 78 years old, Rod is preparing to welcome a new addition to his ever-expanding family. Known for his love of children, Rod is already a father to eight kids and has recently stepped into the role of grandfather.
His daughter Ruby, his fourth child, gave birth to a son with her fiancé, Jake Kalic, on May 9. The news undoubtedly brought joy to Rod and the entire Stewart family. Shortly after, his son Liam also shared that he had become a father to a baby boy named Louis, born on May 12.
Proud parents Ruby and Liam took to Instagram to share photos of their newborns, celebrating the exciting new chapter for the family. Liam, Rod’s son from his marriage to Rachel Hunter (1990–2006), received warm wishes from his mother, who called the baby a "beautiful angel.” Even Rod’s current wife, Penny Lancaster, expressed her excitement, saying she couldn’t wait to give the little ones a hug.
The Stewart family is clearly thriving, with more milestones on the horizon. Liam recently announced his engagement to his partner on Instagram, sharing matching photos with the caption "Forever” and a diamond ring emoji. In one heartfelt image, his fiancée rested her engagement ring on his chest, symbolizing their commitment.
