Sharon Osborne has been a familiar presence in our lives for decades, making it feel almost as though we know her personally. That’s why it’s so concerning to hear about her recent health struggles.
The 70-year-old television personality recently faced a medical emergency that required her to be rushed to the hospital. At the time, she was filming a TV show in California and was taken to Santa Paula Hospital for treatment. Reports indicate that she fell ill while on set at the Glen Tavern Inn, though it’s unclear whether cameras were rolling at the time. The historic inn is no stranger to the spotlight, having previously been featured on Ghost Adventures on the Travel Channel.
This isn’t the first time Sharon has dealt with health challenges. In May 2022, she tested positive for COVID-19, as did her husband, Ozzy Osborne, and their daughter, Kelly. Sharon’s case was severe enough to require hospitalization. On top of that, she has been a pillar of support for Ozzy, who has been battling Parkinson’s disease. The 74-year-old rock legend also underwent surgery in June, adding to the family’s difficulties.
Sharon opened up about her husband’s diagnosis in an ITV documentary, sharing how life as they knew it came to a sudden halt. "When I look at my husband, my heart breaks for him,” she said. "I’m sad for myself to see him that way, but what he goes through is worse. Sometimes when I look at him and he doesn’t know I’m looking, I just cry.”
Our thoughts are with Sharon during this tough time, and we sincerely hope she makes a full recovery soon. Her strength and resilience have always been an inspiration, and we’re rooting for her to bounce back stronger than ever.
